Cosmic Memory, Trauma, and Epigenetic Inheritance.

Cosmic Memory, Trauma, and Epigenetic Inheritance.

Trauma may be a part of our epigenetic inheritance, but so is our Cosmic memory. Healing this trauma (both ancestral and personal) creates space within ones system to integrate understanding of our cosmic history. Not only does this allow us to move freely from the lower nervous system (survival mode/reptilian brain) into the Higher nervous system, this step also adds necessary context for development of our spiritual identity, otherwise known as our "I," or Atman (Higher Self)

Many lack spiritual identity, not due to a lack of spiritual belief, but because their spiritual beliefs are actually in alignment with their trauma programming. This is where we see religious extremism, as well as beliefs such as the idea that "aliens" seeded humanity, leading human beings to identify as "starseeds," aka abandoning their humanity in lieu of something "higher" and "more evolved."

This is not true evolution. This is not true advancement. We will never evolve as long as we are collectively identifying with deep, ancestral wounds. We will never advance as long as we make our trauma our identity and, thus, the driving force behind every decision we make or belief we hold. Trauma is important, and because it plays such a large role in our evolution (or devolution..) it cannot be bypassed.

Along with our epigenetic trauma, we have inherited epigenetic power. Epigenetic strength. Epigenetic fortitude. Epigenetic love. It sounds corny, but it's true. Along with these wounds that we are here to heal, we have also been given the tools necessary to heal them. Healing as a collective begins, deeply, on an individual level. As an individual, one must choose to heal. As an individual, one must choose to love. As an individual, one must choose to forgive. As individuals on the path of Christ (if that is the path you have chosen) we must choose to live as Christ.

Just as trauma is contagious (and trauma egregores spread and infect individuals on a daily basis, especially through media, wars, religion, and politics...) healing is contagious. Living in your power is contagious. Sharing your gifts with the world is contagious, and inspires others to want to do the same. Healing as individuals IS healing as a collective. This is how we remember who we are, and this is how we evolve.
