Symbols of Etherization: Frankincense & Honey

The Etherization of the Blood is a topic I have covered quite a bit in the past, because I believe it is one of the most important concepts for us to understand at this time. Like most mystics, I have always deeply valued associations, symbols, archetypes, and analogies, which reflect a sacred and esoteric language - one that nature can be found whispering softly to us at all times. This language works through us as a means of initiating us deeper into the Mysteries. I see symbols of Etherization everywhere in nature, but today I wanted to cover two symbols in particular which have been coming up for me repeatedly in my own psychic work lately.

As we have discussed previously, the Etherization of the Blood is a Holy process which refers to the purification and Spiritualization of the Human form, where lower matter (our pain, trauma, lower self and lower impulses) is transformed and alchemized into a Higher spiritual substance as it comes into contact with Solar forces, or the Christ Impulse. According to Rudolf Steiner, the spiritual forces of the Sun, often referred to as Solar Consciousness—are integral to the building of a Higher etheric body, which will eventually become our immortal body or our Venus body. The Venus key is important, as Venus represents a Higher state of the Earth.

In Classical Occultism, frankincense could be seen as the nectar of the Sun and is often associated with Solar forces and Solar imagery. Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa, in his seminal work "Three Books of Occult Philosophy," explores the use of frankincense in planetary magic and rituals, associating it with the Sun and the invocation of Solar deities.

The presence of frankincense at the birth of Christ holds deep symbolism. The three wise men, among who were mystics and seers, recognized Jesus as the Christ-bearer, and their gifts reflected this prophetic knowledge.
In my own clairvoyant perceptions, I have perceived frankincense as a powerful symbol of the Etherization of the blood. This sacred resin, seen through higher vision, is imbued with a profound etheric substance that bridges the material and the Spiritual. While not completely animated, I have seen this substance as the breath of the Holy Spirit, a call whispered to those who may hear it.

The harvesting of frankincense, often referred to as the "bleeding" of the tree, involves making incisions from which the sap oozes, forming tear-shaped (note that this is also the shape of a droplet of blood) droplets that harden upon exposure to air. Thus, the "bleeding" of the tree serves as yet another profound metaphor for the Etherization of the blood, connecting the divine with the physical through the transmutation of higher etheric substances. Even the resin, as it bleeds from the birch, bleeds first in a dark, golden hue, and lightens into a pure light gold as it hardens due to oxidation.

Like frankincense, honey is also associated with the Sun, Solar forces, and the Gods. In clairvoyant perceptions, I have seen that honey and frankincense are the same etheric substance manifesting in different forms. Together, both substances are associated with physical and spiritual healing, and both have been found to have antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. Likewise, Frankincense and honey were utilized by mystics and royalties to anoint, cleanse, and protect against dark forces.

In the realm of alchemy, bees are the ultimate alchemists! Steiner posited that bees, through their honey production, connect with Divine Cosmic wisdom and the etheric forces of the Earth. The act of creating honey involves the transmutation of the sun's energy—captured by flowers—into a nourishing and spiritually significant substance. Nectar, a base fluid, is consumed by the bee who then stores this nectar in a sort of stomach sack, separate from the bees digestive stomach. Once back at the hive, the nectar is regurgitated and re-ingested by a hive bee, where it becomes infused with certain enzymes that begin to change its form at a core level. There is then a process of repetition of the regurgitation and ingestion until a finer substance has evolved, before this substance is eventually secreted into a honeycomb where it is fanned to reduce water content. This process, to me, very clearly mirrors our own human processes of drawing our lower impulses up into the heart where then become activated with the Christ Impulse, releasing a Higher etheric substance into our blood that then takes on its own journey through the endocrine system, joining with the pineal gland where the now-activated pineal gland then secretes melatonin and DMT.

That being said, honey transcends mere physical nourishment; it is a carrier of etheric life forces, providing both spiritual and etheric sustenance. It represents the ultimate form of nourishment! The bees' alchemical transformation of nectar into honey mirrors the internal processes within our own etheric bodies, aligning us with Solar forces.

Steiner also spoke of bees living in an atmosphere completely pervaded by love. The entire hive is immersed in this atmosphere, with individual bees renouncing personal desires to develop love throughout the hive. This selfless love within the hive is a reflection of the higher etheric substance that bees carry, marked by the sacrificial love of Christ. True Solar beings!

In conclusion, both frankincense and honey serve as powerful symbols of the Etherization of the blood, with bees representing Divine mediators. They awaken memory of prior epochs, calling forth deep Spiritual truths to be reintegrated into the body and nervous system. Meditating on these truths while working with these substances can help us align with the Solar forces within, nurturing the pattern of Christ within us. Much more could be said, but I will leave it here for now. Selah! 🌞
